This beautiful garden, located at the far end of the park at Versailles, once provided a nice retreat for Louis XIV and his family. The king used this retreat to escape the pressures of power and the large company of courtiers that lived with him at the palace. Today, people visit the gardens to enjoy the elegant arrangements of colorful flowers that gently sprinkle the ground.
